Placing Orders (for Australia, New Zealand and S.E Asia customers ONLY)

New and existing customers can place orders via this website for direct shipment. Customers must supply a valid Australian, New Zealand or S.E Asian Billing AND Shipping address in order for us to accept your order. Orders are processed and shipped from our Mudgeeraba Queensland or Ballarat Victoria, Australian facility. All payment is accepted in Aust Dollars only. S.E Asian are in US dollars only customers are responsible for all Frieght duties and country taxes incurred on a shipment. All correspondence concerning orders, billing, or shipping should be directed to the address shown above.

Placing Orders

If you are outside the Australia, New Zealand or S.E Asia you can place an order in our store, however, Automationdirect.com.au does not fulfill the order and prices shown in this store do not apply to the order. Your order will be forwarded (via an e-mail message) to the international affiliate closest to you. This may be within your country of origin or in a nearby country. The international affiliate will contact you with details about your order, pricing, and their terms and conditions. If you wish to continue with the order, any arrangements and contracts made are strictly between you and the contacting affiliate. Automationdirect.com.au has chosen these affiliates after careful consideration and they are equipped to support you with products and technical support. Automationdirect.com.au will forward (or respond to) all international orders, but we cannot accept any responsibility for orders or technical support for orders shipped internationally from our affiliates (outside Asia Pacific region).

E-Commerce Store Pricing

All prices are shown in aust Dollars only. Aust Dollars are the only currency we trade in. We have made every effort to match the prices of our online store with our Automation Direct Pty Ltd price list . In the event a price does not match, the price list is in effect. Additionally, Our Terms and Conditions sale will be sent to you on placement of order prior to any acceptance of order, as printed in these Terms and Conditions of sale override any catalog, direct or implied terms in the store.

Order Processing & Shipping

All orders are entered into our business system shortly after they are submitted. You will receive an order confirmation (to the e-mail address provided) after your order is received. We offer a variety of Next Day, 2nd Day, 3rd Day, and Ground Delivery services. If one of these services is selected and the order is submitted before 3:00 PM ET we will make every attempt to ship your order the same day. Note: In order to receive same day shipping, you must be paying via Credit Card or an established credit account (in good standing). If your Credit Card is declined for the order amount, your established account goes over your limit, or a payment is past due, your order may be delayed. Automation Direct Pty Ltd does not ship on Saturday or Sunday. Note: Due to shipper restrictions we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes. All Shipments are subject to stock availability.

Sales Tax

Automation Direct Pty Ltd is located Australia and is only obligated to charge sales tax respectively for delivery within Australia. Australian customers who have a Tax Exemption Certificate on file with us will not have state taxes added to their orders. Note: Sales tax rate varies by county.

Backorders

While we constantly strive to have all our valued technology products in inventory, you may order an item that is temporarily out of stock. Automationdirect.com.au will accept orders for out-of-stock items to ensure that you will be the first to receive the item once it becomes available. If your order is not in stock it will be placed on backorder and shipped when the item is available via the same method as the original order. You may cancel a backorder at any time prior to shipping by contacting customer service by phone at: (1800)633-0405 or email: sales@automationdirect.com.au

Changes to Orders

Our highly automated order system provides a very short time span (usually minutes) in which to make any order changes. Once your order has entered the processing cycle, we cannot accept changes. Order changes cannot be accepted via the Internet. If you need to make a change, please have your customer number and order number ready when you call our Order Assistance personnel immediately at (1800)633-0405)

Confirming POs

Please send confirming POs for orders. This is a requirement for sales tax, If your company requires you to claim sales tax exemption you are required to send a signed exemption otherwise we will be required to charge you sales tax on supply or after supply of goods.

Terms & Conditions
Our terms are Net 30 days, We invoice on the day of shipment. Our shipping terms are FOB mudgeeraba, Qld, Australia. If any and all freight charges are prepaid they will be a invoiced to your account. Our terms and conditions apply to all orders. We do not accept any deviations from these terms. If your PO lists terms that are different from the above, we will process the PO, but we do not accept the terms.

Shipping Methods

We can send your order via a number of shipping carriers: Wards,Ansett, UPS and Federal Express, as well as RPS. Our preferred carrier is Wards. You can choose your carrier and method of shipment (ground, or one of the AIR options) and evaluate the charges incurred with each.

Shipping Charges

We calculate the shipping and handling charges based on our actual preferred carrier shipping charges, plus a $7.50 Aust handling fee per order. Next Day Early AM and Saturday Deliveries have an additional carrier delivery charge added to the shipping charge.

Carrier Insurance

FOB is Mudgeeraba, Qld Aust. Once your order leaves our shipping dock, you are responsible for payment of the invoice. Standard carriers offer insurance to protect your package(s) in case of a loss. At this time, we do not support adding Carrier Insurance to your order from our online store. If you want to insure your order, please call in your order at (1800)633-0405 or fax your order to (07 55252053). Carrier insurance Charges are calculated at the standard carrier rate of .35 per $100. excluding the first $100. For example, if you place an order for $1000, the insurance charge is: $1000. - $100. = $900./$100. = $9. * $.35 = $3.15.

PAYMENT METHODS

Purchase Orders
We accept purchase orders from customers with approved accounts. You can set up an account at the time of your first order by completing and sending our online credit application or filling out the form located in the catalog. It usually takes only 2 business days to verify credit information, so please allow ample time for us to process your credit information when you place your first order.
Credit Cards

We accept major credit cards including, Visa, MasterCard, There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases with Automationdirect.com.au Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you). Incorrect information may cause a delay in processing your order. Your credit card will be billed upon processing your order.

COD

At this time, we do not support COD as a payment method from our online store. If you want to place a COD order, please call in your order at (1800)633-0405 or fax your order to (07 55252053). We accept cash or certified checks as payment for COD shipments. We do not accept company or personal checks for COD. There is a small surcharge ($5-7.50, depending on carrier) for COD shipments. Sorry, but no COD for overseas orders.

Security Interest

We maintain security interest in our products. That is, we reserve the right to repossess any equipment for which we have not been paid. This includes products that have already been shipped to an end customer, either individually, or as part of a machine or process.

30-Day Money Back Guarentee

We want you to feel comfortable with your automation purchase. Try our products for 30 days. If they don't meet your expectations, then you can return them for credit, exchange, or a refund. The 30-day period begins 3 days after the invoice date. 30-day returns must be in like new condition. You should also return all product documentation, cables, etc. We reserve the right to refuse credit for any products that are not in a condition for resale. Credit is for the price of the product only and does not include credit for any shipping/handling charges. You must call our Returns Authorization Center at (1800)633-0405 or (07 55252053) to obtain a RMA before returning any product.

Warranty Returns

All Automationdirect.com products carry a 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. If a product fails to perform properly within 1 year from the date of purchase, we will replace it or repair it at our option. See our Terms and Conditions of sale for details. Of course, warranties do not apply to products that have been abused or used outside of the recommended product specifications. When possible, our preferred option is to replace the product immediately, even before you have returned the defective product. You must call our Returns Authorization Center at (1800)633-0405 or fax (61)55252053 to obtain a RMA number before returning any product. Please refer to the following instructions when sending your original items back: - All items must be in original condition with all packing material, product documentation, cables, etc. - You must write your RMA number on the outside of the package. - You must send your package(s) via your nominated frieght carrier. (Don't send your package(s) via the Aust Mail.) - All shipping and handling must be prepaid by the customer. Note: The original item(s) must be received by our warehouse within 7 business days (one calendar week) of receipt of your return instructions. Any discrepancies could result in a delay or complete forfeiture of your credit. Returns will not be accepted without an RMA number.

Misuse of Online Ordering System

Automation Direct Pty Ltd can not be held repsonsible for any misuse of the ordering system by your employees or companions. Security of your USERID and passwords are your responsibility. Purchase Order and Credit Card orders received by us are considered authentic and are shipped promptly by our automated system. If you suspect any fradulent use of your account, please contact us immediately so your account can be placed on hold.
