Operator Interface Touch Panels for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)

Here is a family of operator interface panels that are truly incredible! Designed from the ground up to be practical, these panels have been developed in partnership with our new Federation member, AVG (Autotech/Viktron Group). Our goal was to give you a touch panel with great features, outstanding quality and easy configuration and support.

• Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) protocols supported include: Allen-Bradley DF1 or DH485, GE Fanuc SNPX or CCM2, Mitsubishi FX, Modicon MODBUS RTU, Omron Host Link, Siemens S7 300/400 and all DirectLOGIC PLCs. (Built-in network models also available for: Ethernet/IP, DeviceNET, MODBUS PLUS and Profibus DP)

• 6 inch, 8 inch, 10 inch and 15 inch models with a Data Highway Plus interface module pre-installed.
  
  
• The EZ-Ethernet option card enables your EZTouch panel to connect to your AutomationDirect PLC Ethernet network. Install this card in your EZTouch panels to allow Ethernet communications for multiple panels to multiple AutomationDirect PLCs. Connect up to 8 EZTouch panels to a single PLC with the ECOM module. (The option card cannot be installed in an EZTouch panel with -K or -R in the part number).
  
  (NOTE: Each PLC must have an ECOM module and each EZTouch panel must have an EZ-ETHERNET card installed. The card does not work with Think & Do WinPLC or PC systems.)

EZTouch Panels - Available models - 6 Inch

• 6 inch mono (EZ-S6M-R ), 256 K memory (non-expandable), all serial drivers; costs less than wiring a bunch of pushbuttons, lamps, etc.; great for machine builders who need extreme value. EZ-TOUCH-M manual included.

• EZ-S8C-F - Color STN, 512 K (expandable to 1.5 MB), all serial drivers; accepts optional communication cards; uses a lower NIT (brightness) rating display to keep the cost super low; good for applications that are extremely cost conscious, but need a larger (full VGA, 640 x 480) screen. The 15 inch color EZTouch slim bezel panels have a 15.0 inch diagonal touch screen, with a 640 x 480 pixel resolution and feature a TFT LCD (liquid crystal display). All models feature a low-profile slim bezel design that provide a small footprint on your enclosure.

All EZTouch panels (except EZ-S6C-K and EZ-S6C-KS which support DirectLOGIC serial protocols only) support DirectLOGIC DL05/06, DL105, DL205, DL305, DL405 serial protocols, including K-sequence, DirectNET and Koyo MODBUS.

Networking

The EZTouch panels can communicate via various types of networking protocols using the applicable network card. The networks currently supported are as follows:

• Ethernet/IP (10” and 15” slim bezel models only)
• MODBUS Plus (10” and 15” slim bezel models only)

The Ethernet network card is purchased separately, while the DH+ (Data Highway Plus) model and other networking option models are ordered as a complete unit with a pre-installed interface card.

Version 2.4 (or higher) of the EZTouch software is available (Current customers can upgrade here) with such features as:
